Nickelates: a stabilised superconducting state without doping

Scientists at the IPCMS have just shown that the origin of superconductivity in nickelates must be considered as a phenomenon in its own right. Their results show that, unlike cuprates, the superconducting state of nickelates can be stabilised without the need for doping.
